The only Official East Allington Village Web Site East Allington is a charming Devon village, situated on the side of a secluded valley approximately one mile to the east of the A381. It lies about three miles from Kingsbridge and about ten miles from Totnes. The coast at Slapton Sands is about five miles to the south-east. East Allington also includes the hamlet of The Mounts, about a mile away, and a number of outlying farms and houses. The population of East Allington was 617 in the year 2000. The Church of St. Andrew's overlooks the village from a hillside position, and East Allington Primary School nestles beside the church. This website is intended to make information available about East Allington to local residents, visitors and holidaymakers alike, including such details as village amenities, organisations, events and local businesses. Residents can place Free Ads of items For Sale or Wanted. Local businesses are invited to advertise on the web site at a charge of £10 per year, all proceeds of which will go to St. Andrew's Church. |
