The Parish Hall The Hall is available for hire - the rates are advertised on the notice board outside the hall, or contact Mrs Valerie Stevens on 01548-521443. The Parish Hall Management Committee meets on the second Wednesday each month at 7:30pm, and members of the public are welcome. The Parish Council meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm, and members of the public are welcome. Short Mat Bowling Club - meets every Tuesday at 7:30pm. Either simply turn up and be welcomed, or contact Club Captain, Nicholas Whiteway on 01548-521453 or Treasurer, Ted Saunders on 01548-521410. Whist Drives - are held on the third Friday of each month, September to April inclusive. Doors open 7:00pm for 7:30pm start. Anyone interested in a game of Whist will be made most welcome with a "cuppa", sandwich and cake.. The East Allington Football Club - meet at the Parish Hall on Saturdays to use the changing facilities there. The Parish Hall is also used for many other events, such as the East Allington Village Show each August and the Harvest Supper, which is next due on 28th September, 2006 (See Events Page for ticket details).
